| In1986, Heritage Bank of North Florida opened
its first bank in Orange Park, Florida under the name of
Clay County Bank. After providing that community with personal
banking service for several years, the board decided the
same type of service would be welcomed in the Ponte Vedra
Beach area.
The bank applied for, and received, permission in April
2000 from banking regulators to change its name to Heritage
Bank of North Florida. In February 2002, the Ponte Vedra
Beach office was opened. The Ponte Vedra location has experienced
a wonderful response from the community.
Heritage Bank retains its original owners and four of
its founding board members. The bank’s senior management
team has been working together for over 25 years and has
more than a century of combined banking experience.
The Heritage Bank staff believes customers come first.
That was proven true by a recent survey. In the survey,
conducted by an independent research firm, our bank received
the highest customer service rating of any bank in its
service area.
As the banking industry moves forward into the electronic
era, Heritage Bank is moving with it. However, its primary
goal will always be, first and foremost, to continue offering
the best possible personal service to its customers. |
